The music was that bit more commercial... can't imagine 'End Of Green' getting blasted out in the cafe in Eastenders. As for how much actual success it brought them? Best bet is to ask the band! I'd attribute two good albums, a string of good singles and videos and some great gigs as enjoying success - they made the sales, drew great crowds at gigs, but I still think it's a pity it stopped when it did. A third album from either band would have been great.
