Playlist Mix Wins At 2008 Irish Web Awards

We came, we saw, we didn’t win the Best Music Site category (that award went to State Magazine - fair play to Nialler, Phil & co.) at the 2008 Irish Web Awards.

However, one trophy did make its way back to Kilkenny as the Playlist Mix Podcast won Best Podcaster on the night.

Needless to say there was some level of surprise, shock, delight and a little more surprise but it’s great to get acknowledged for the work you’re doing, when you least expect it. Hopefully we’ll see KilkennyMusic.com back there again at the Irish Blog Awards (different ceremony) in Cork next February.
