18th Sound System Podcast Goes Live

The 18th Sound System Podcast has gone live (download here) with all four of us on the podcast for the first time in a month. There’s also music from Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters, Waiting To Explode, Reemo and Secret Police (the latter two playing with KilkennyMusic.com on June 9th in Cleere’s).

We should warn that the podcast might be a tad on the explicit side due to the repetitive discussion of one of Fox Jaw’s track names, apologies if it offends anyone. The Waiting To Explode track also contains explicit language but we don’t believe in censoring music, not here! Take a listen below or visit the site to check out the podcast.

Great tracks there lads. Sounds like May was a quiet month! Same thing happened in Cork at quite a few of the gigs I was at. I think it must be something to do with students doing some final cramming and probably fairly broke at the end of the year.

May was a busy month indeed dude, wraps up next week with the One Take Sessions before we go mad with a gig EVERY weekend in June and a week long stay in the theatre alongside the Devious Theatre Company for the final weekend.

I’d chalk a lot of it down to exams though, the summer gigs had great turnouts last year.

Nice tunes aye but the first time I think we haven’t plugged the fantastic Jimmy Trigger in some way, bar a mention of the podcast but still…. best Elvis impersonator in town I reckon!
