The first annual KilkennyMusic.com Beer, Music and Surf Festival was a roaring success by all accounts this weekend gone. Ditching Oxegen to go hang out in Lahinch and get scalded in the sun was a great move. As for the festival itself there was more beer than music and surf but on a rare weekend off for all of us behind KKM it was decided to make the bold move and “go west”.

Fantastic weather, plenty of drinks, pitching a tent in galeforce winds, cheesy smells in a van, power showers, topless photo shoots, finding santa on a beach, jellyfish, polish people running in their underpants in the rain, incredible tongue-twisters at 2am, happy New Zealand people, scared Clare people, barbecues, cliffs, roadside pee stops and more…. check out some of the recaps of the weekend away here.
