Announcing a new feature to KilkennyMusic.com…. The Kilkenny Music Charts! And not in the musical sense… this one is promoting the bands and artists hard work, their music and details - via their website.

The charts serve as a free promotional tool for your website. Submit either your official site or your myspace site to the listings and watch yourself move up the charts!
How do you get up the charts? By having more people visit and vote for your site!
You can move up the charts by two simple ways - people visit the charts and hit your website, or people visit your website and increase your counter on the charts via a graphic counter you take from KilkennyMusic.com.
When you sign up your bands / own MySpace account, or your official site, you include a graphic hit counter which displays your current position in the charts (updated daily). Each new person visiting your site drives you up the charts - and they can vote for your site as well by clicking the link back to the charts. No big notices or banners, just a small button does all the work.
This is aimed at people promoting their own music or bands, not individuals with their own site on soccer, or hurling, or anything non band related.

Note - not everyone has access to the charts, sure, everyone can view the charts, but if you want to register a site you’ll have to open a charts account which is seperate to your user account.
