Petition Against New Licensing Times

Looks like an ongoing thread over the discussion of the reduction of the late bar license in Kilkenny down to 1:30pm (including the upcoming Cat Laughs comedy festival) has spawned an online petition.

For those of you who haven’t yet heard, the late license in Kilkenny is being reduced to 1:30am for at least a month given certain events on the May Bank Holiday weekend that left some people in hospital following a fight on Ormonde Street and numerous other skirmishes around the taxi ranks in Kilkenny.
