An update for everyone this morning!
Work went on through the night last night, starting at around 10pm and wrapping up shortly before 3:30am this morning and the forums are likely to stay down today as well.
Anyone who had been listening to us on KCLR last week or have picked up on certain threads on the forums over the past few weeks will know that we’re getting ready to revamp the online side of KilkennyMusic.com and we’re in great shape to do it after last night.
So whats going on? Well, a whole new system has been written which means bigger and better forums, bigger and better artist areas, galleries and some nice new features too (podcasting, video, the whole nine yards!).
So if you can hold on for a day or so things should be up and running again nicely. There isn’t any problem with the site, you can still log in and hit the chat rooms (though you might be prevented from registering as a new user) and check out all the usual stuff and normal service should resume to the forums a bit later. With work also continuing tonight
