Evil Hamster makes it 100!!

On behalf of all KilkennyMusic.com staff, contributers, developers and more we would like to thank and welcome Evil Hamster as our 100th member!!

Read on…

100 members in mere days over a month has solidified KilkennyMusic.com’s early position as a force to be reckoned with in promoting local music and bands.

We’ve got a small number of bands in over the past month, we’ve had our launch night and gig to a packed house in Cleere’s and we’re doing it all over again on Friday November 4th with Skylight & 79Cortinaz!!

Currently KilkennyMusic.com has no external investment bar the time committed and provided by the staff of Event Ireland, who also provide our website hosting and daily coverage.

On reaching a small, yet significant milestone in 100 members we would like to thank the staff of Event Ireland, EMG Controls, Cllr John Coonan, John, Emma, Stella, Chris as KCLR, Edwina Grace and the staff at the Kilkenny People, the staff at the Kilkenny Voice, Cleere’s Theatre & John Cleere, Kieran Byrne, Maeve O’Reilly, Alan Dawson, Shane Bradley, Ita Morrissey, Paddy Dunne, Heartbeat City, SISK, Sue Nunn @ KCLR, Beat FM, 2FM, Today FM (for their coverage of the first gig and launch night) and we’re sure that there is more - and there will be many more to come over the weeks and months.

KilkennyMusic.com is in its infancy but already growing and standing tall and we’ll continue to do so with new features, new bands, new music, new gigs and a new breath of life into the Kilkenny music scene and beyond!

Peace out and stay tuned
