Calling Musicians For CreativeCamp

CreativeCamp is coming to Kilkenny on Saturday March 8th and will take place in the Parade Tower at Kilkenny Castle. This is a FREE event, all you need to do is sign up at http://creativecamp.barcamp.ie

This is an event open to business types, tech lovers, web developers but - hence the name - especially creative types from artists to musicians and beyond. It’s also another event that I’m directly involved in organising (similar to the first annual PodCamp held in Kilkenny last September) and I would urge anyone with an interest in new media, social media, social networking to considering attending on the day.

There are so many opportunities available on the day between workshops and talks, meeting up with other musicians, working and promoting yourself online and so much more. The schedule of talks and speakers will build up over the coming weeks but if you’re interested, check out the CreativeCamp site. We’ll be talking it up on the podcast as well over the coming weeks. After coming back with some great ideas from an ArtLinks event we were involved in in Wicklow before Christmas, the day should provide a great opportunity for musicians and artists in the area.

If you’re in Leaving Cert, you might get a few ideas for future jobs or careers or maybe even meet some people that could pass work your way - you never know!
