The day is here! KilkennyMusic.com officially launches tonight with the first KilkennyMusic.com gig in Cleere’s, Kilkenny, featuring The Happy Medium, Tony Hoyne, & Kieran Byrne. Some of the staff will be there on the night taking questions, applications, contact details!

So the night is finally here!

Whats the night? Well if you don’t know, we (KilkennyMusic.com) officially launch tonight with the first of a new line of gigs in Kilkenny and where better to start than Cleere’s on Parliament Street! It also means that once that gig is done and dusted and the site marks its official launch we can swing into action here at KilkennyMusic.com with some great content lined up, interviews, music releases, merchandising and more!

And what time I hear you ask? The doors open at 9 with the night’s entertainment kicking off at 9:30, Kieran Byrne getting the proceedings underway, closely followed by local act Tony Hoyne before ecclectic newcomers The Happy Medium take to the stage.

The night is being recorded and will be available on CD and through direct download on KilkennyMusic.com shortly. If you’re not in, you can’t win as the man says!

We’ve put a lot of effort into sewing the seeds to breed some new life into the local music scene and we’re sure that you’ll approve. This is the first in a new line of gigs and events so make a part of history and get yourself to Cleere’s tonight! Tickets are going at only €5 a head in the door, flyers available through Heartbeat City (if there’s any left)
