Lord Of The Drums For April 29th

We’re at that time of year again, Lord Of The Drums, the fourth annual drumfest hits Kilkenny on April 29th in the Zoo Club for the day. Organisers as always are great friends of KilkennyMusic.com, Essaness Music, and they’re looking for entries and suggestions. Last year was a serious day - feckin best weather Kilkenny had seen all year long and we were all stuck in the club, melting, the place packed with drummers from around Ireland and Kilkenny.

It really is a great day, you get to pick up a few sales offers, there’s drum lessons from the stage (KilkennyMusic.com’s own Daw was there last year demoing some great technical aspects and timing while 79Cortinaz Mike Hayden gave a lesson on using an electronic kit).

Likely on the bill this year again are Daw, Ghost Town’s Tommy Gray, R6’s Ned Long, NDJ’s Bob Ryan, Barry from Captain Insano (Cork) and a few others.
