Guggenheim Grotto recording in Philadelphia

The Guggenheim Grotto return to Kilkenny for a special acoustic show next month, hooking up with ourselves at KilkennyMusic.com again for a show in Cleere’s Theatre on Friday October 19th. Joining them on the night will be Dublin performer Pal Steelo who toured with the lads back in June of this year.

The gig allows ‘Guggenheim a break from recording from the forthcoming second album which is due for release in the new year. Minus Shane Power on the night, Kevin and Mick will be treating the Kilkenny audience to a selection of tracks from the new album as well as some of the best of debut album ‘Waltzing Alone’.

We’ll have more coverage in the run up to the gig but tickets on the night will be €8 and we’ll be giving away a couple of them as well from next week onwards!

In the meantime you can catch the Guggenheim live at the Ruby Sessions next Tuesday October 2nd, Dingwalls in London on the 17th of October (with Shane) and upstairs in the Roisin Dubh (Galway) on the 26th of October.
