Dolly Parton Is Coming To Town, Remember?

The posters have been around for months, the billboards are on the go, the TV ads, radio ads and the likes, but I keep forgetting that Dolly Parton is on her way to Kilkenny - and she’ll be in town next weekend.

If you’ve been sleeping under a rock, the busty country singer is on her way to Nowlan Park for Sunday, June 22nd. However, it looks like she’ll be coming on her own. Despite previous years of Source festival-type gigs, the Dolly show is a one-woman only affair with no support acts.

As a result, gates at Nowlan Park are set to open at 6pm, giving people plenty of time to arrive. Stage time is set for 8pm on Sunday evening next. Contrary to rumours, there are still tickets available, priced at €81.25 (pitch) or €91.25 (stands), available from Rollercoaster in Kieran Street or online via Ticketmaster.ie.
