Arts Festival Gets Lisa Hannigan, Mercury Rev & More

Looks like we’re finally allowed to talk about the acts that have been confirmed for the Kilkenny Arts Festival. Having known about things for a few weeks, it’s now officially in the open that Lisa Hannigan, Mercury Rev, Spiritualised, Halves, Dae Kim and local acts including Good Tiger and A Safe Dry Place will all be performing at this year’s Arts Festival in Kilkenny.

Here’s the lowdown at the moment…

• August 9 – Lisa Hannigan & Good Tiger @ The Parade Tower
• August 10 – Halves & A Safe Dry Place @ Cleere’s
• August 12 – Mercury Rev, Oppenheimer & Alphastates @ The Hub
• August 14 – Dae Kim & House Of Cosy Cushions @ Cleere’s
• August 17 - Spiritualized @ Canice’s Cathedral (w/ 3epkano)

Tickets for Mercury Rev are €32.50 and available via Ticketmaster.ie. Tickets for Spiritualized are €40.

Solid lineup by all accounts
