Are Friends Eclectic For Friday In Ryan’s

The next round of ‘Are Friends Eclectic’ takes place in the back room in Ryan’s tomorrow night (Friday) as James Carney, the Thermal Detonators’ Paddy Cuddihy and Switch founder Dave Laiso rip through their vinyl collection and mixed musical bag (or performance!) to bring another good monthly night of music to the masses in Kilkenny.

At its core, the night is “essentially an open decks night, but the DJ’s are (mostly) amateurs… a public house party of sorts!” If you’re interested in getting involved, you can drop a CD demo into the bar in Ryan’s on Friary Street marked for ‘Are Friends Eclectic’ or email a setlist to the A.F.E. Bebo or MySpace.
