Looks like there’s going to be an outdoor concert this summer, scheduled for the tail end of the Kilkenny Arts Festival and it will include a “lineup of local and visiting bands, and one or two big name headline acts”.
The concert itself is in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association and is being organised on the local side by Edwina Grace, Ray Brophy and Andrew McGuinness along with Tony Coy of the Irish Wheelchair Association.
Sounds like a good idea, nice to see it happen. There was the big outdoor concert last summer in Ballykeeffe that rained like never before but hopefully the weather will hold out for this one. Traditionally it hasn’t been too bad around Arts Week and the Arts Festival so fingers crossed. One of the organisers is lurking around for forums and looking for suggestions, jump in and voice your thoughts or leave a comment here 
Of course, we’re not suggesting its on in Ballykeeffe… just a thought!
