Submit Your Demo
If you’re looking to get involved at the One Take Sessions, be considered for some of our weekend gig series or feature your music on the Sound System Podcast, then we want to get your demos and CDs.
Please note that if you are looking for someone to review your album or single then we require at least on physical copy (CD). Entries for the podcast may be submitted by MP3.
If you want to include additional copies to give away on the site or the podcast then please, do send them on and we’ll look after the rest.
Where to send your stuff…
CDs, posters and other items for review or giveaway can be mailed to Ken McGuire, Event Ireland, Kilkenny Commercial Centre, Sion Road, Kilkenny. Please mark your envelopes clearly for KILKENNYMUSIC.COM.
How to get on the podcast…
Getting on the podcast is easy. All you need to do is drop an email to podcast@kilkennymusic.com with your details.
Please include
- Recent band biography
- Any upcoming gig dates
- Discography (where available)
- Links to MySpace / Bebo etc.
- One MP3 per email
The last one is important - please only send one mp3 per email (it makes it easier for archiving) and title your email BAND NAME - TRACK NAME. The Sound System Podcast goes out on a Wednesday night. If submissions are for a specific week, please note that the cut off time for music submissions is midnight on the previous Tuesday.
e.g. If you want to be featured on the podcast dated Wednesday October 10th, then you submit your music no later than midnight on Tuesday October 9th. MP3s must be a minimum 128kb quality and inclusion is ultimately at the discretion of the show hosts (Ken and Ross).
