One Take Sessions Thursday June 19th
Daily Video: Inner Circle ‘Sweat’
Yes… it’s possible this video has been used before but there’s been requests over the weekend to give it another screening so here it goes… only about 9 hours later than it should to. No, it’s not a sign that I only woke up at 5pm.
It’s been a great bank holiday weekend in Kilkenny, here’s looking forward to a 4-day week from tomorrow ![]()
Daily Video: REM ‘Losing My Religion’
I’d say there was more than religion lost so far over the weekend… the comedy festival in Kilkenny going excellent as always, and there’s still two more nights to run. For your Sunday breakfast, here’s some REM with ‘Losing My Religion’.
Enjoy the day!
Daily Video: Dirty Epics ‘The Cure’
A great song from a great band who are going to be joining us for the One Take Sessions on June 19th in Cleere’s. Here’s Dirty Epics with ‘The Cure’. Cracking video as well put together with the aid of NYU Tisch student Alison Grasso and Hot Press.
The back of the week is firmly broken sir!
Vultures Episode 2 is now online!

The second installment of Mycrofilms flagship production, ‘Vultures‘, is now online and FREE TO WATCH on www.vulturespi.com.
Episode 2: ‘The Scarlet Lady Vanishes’ sees the return of the three hapless detectives of Vultures P.I, along with some new faces, as they “get up in the guts” of an Agatha Christie style murder mystery. It’s got action, it’s got suspense, it’s got love, it’s got hookers and it’s still better than that film, the one with the bugs in space!
Check it out and leave the lads from Mycrofilms some feedback here on the Mycrofilms MySpace or the Vultures bebo profile.
Suddyn chart at no. 26 with ‘Letting Go’
This one arrived over the news desk yesterday… Fair play to the Suddyn lads with their continued chart success.
Anthemic rock band SUDDYN continue their streak of success with their 3rd release ‘Letting Go’ securing the No. 26 spot in this weeks Charts! That’s 2 weeks in a row for the SUDDYN boys and an unbelievable 3 Top 30 hits in a row now under their belt!
SUDDYN’s recent wave of success continues to build and grow as the band makes their mark in the charts and the music industry. Media support for SUDDYN’s drowned-in-sound anthem has flooded in with Spin 103.8 fm, Beat Fm, Fm 104 fm, Phantom and Spin South West announcing the addition of “Letting Go” to their playlist! This increasingly popular group is beginning to reap the benefits of their recent chart success as TV, radio & gig offers continue to pour in……for recent & upcoming features on SUDDYN keep an eye on Channel 6, PoP 4, Fm 104 & Hotpress to name but a few!
Recorded in the world renowned Grouse Lodge with the wonderful producer Les Stapleton and mastered by John Davis in Alchemy Soho, London (Snow Patrol, Led Zeppelin & The Arctic Monkeys), ‘Letting Go’ is the third release for this NY/Clonmel band. SUDDYN’s new single has been described as “a symphonic blast of pure angst with Coldplay-bothering, arena-quaking potential.” Alan Corr RTE Guide.
“We are all really happy with how ‘Letting Go’s’ is doing, it’s great to see a drunken weekend at Grouse Lodge really pay off” says lead singer Alan Steil.
‘Letting Go’ could very well represent a transition in SUDDYN’s career as they come into their own as a player in the music world. SUDDYN’s last release ‘Gravity’ spent 4 weeks in the Irish Charts garnering widespread airplay and making a big impact on Ireland’s Airplay charts! ‘Gravity’ was added to almost all national and regional radio playlists including daytime playlist on 2fm!
In support of the release, SUDDYN will be playing an extensive nationwide tour. More dates being added……..please check www.myspace.com/suddyn for updates!!Support slots to date have included Boy Kill Boy, The Blizzards, Shiny Toy Guns, The Films and Republic of Loose amongst many others.
Recording on the first album will begin this summer, with a planned release early in 2009. US dates are also being added to the SUDDYN calendar… watch this space!
