Register For 2007 Battle Of The Bands
The Battle Of The Bands for 2007 has opened its registration, though interest has been aroused for a few months now. The competition now running into its 6th year is open only to Kilkenny acts and our coverage will continue this summer on the Battle Of The Bands site.

Last year’s winners Scuba Dice have done well, they went to appear on RTE’s You’re A Star, also making it into the Irish charts.
is there going to be a battle of the bands 2008
There will be a BOTB in 2008 but quite possible (though unconfirmed) that the competition structure will change.
We’re judges / sponsors / facilitators but not organisers at present so I can’t say whether it will change for definite, but it will be going ahead next year.
As far as I know, Andrew has plans well under way for a 2008 competition which will be bigger than ever.
