We might be just at the tail end of February but we’re already looking ahead to the 2007 Battle Of The Bands. If you drop into the forum there’s a discussion going at the minute looking at what way the competition will shape up for the summer.
Last year’s contest, organised by Hype Entertainment, was a late starter, around August and ran until mid-November, hopefully this one will be more summer focused. As it stands it looks like the first heat will take place on Sunday June 10th in the Zoo club. Over 20 bands entered the competition last year, eventually won out by now You’re A Star hopefuls Scuba Dice. KilkennyMusic.com were there every step of the way (seen as three of us were judging and providing coverage on each heat and the finals) and we hope to be there again this year.
