Battle Of The Bands Prizes Revealed

We were involved with the Battle Of The Bands in 2006 and are looking forward to the involvement again this year, with the competition set to get underway in two weeks time. The competition is open to Kilkenny bands of all ages and natures - if you’re interested, get in touch with us here at the site and we’ll pass on your details.

Anyway, some of the prizes have started to come out and this morning some of the goodies awaiting the winners were announced including a top prize of €1,000 worth of recording time in The Mill Studios, €1,000 worth of equipment from Essaness Music and new to the fold is a professional website (complete with own domain, band email, and all the frills), sponsored by Kilkenny based Web Design and Online Marketing business Event Ireland.

Bands registered for the heats so far include Mantra, Decadation, Weeduggy, Necromancer (great last year), Terratoria, Caboose, Desecrate, Nerve, Loveless Audio and last year’s semi-finalists Kickstart. Looking forward to seeing more names on the bill especially given that last year’s competition was the biggest of the previous years.
