Battle Of The Bands Heats Announced
In case you missed it on the forum during the week, the entrants for the four heats in this year’s Battle Of The Bands in Kilkenny have been announced.

The competition is set to run from Sunday July 29th through to Sunday August 19th with a three week break before the final on Sunday September 9th. Prizes for the winning band include €1,000 worth of equipment from Essaness Music in Kilkenny (who we love), €1,000 worth of recording time in The Mill Studio in Kilkenny, a professional band starter website from Kilkenny web design and online marketing company Event Ireland, and many more.
This Sunday 29-7-07 see first session of this years battle of the bands.One of the most exiting new bands on the Scene this Year is Teratoria a group of 4 youg 15 year olds all from the locality.They started up in 2006 and allready recorded 3 songs on a demo in November 2006, see bebo page teratoria to hear this excelent new band.They have now got a further 3 songs,this is very impressive from these young musicians who can do covers songs but prefer to do there own material which they write them selves.Go to YouTube and type in Teratoria and you will see a slide show on the band which is done to there best song to date “Die in a Dream” from there first Demo “The E Minor Chapter”,when they recorded the demo in November 2006 ,they tried to be different with Two Bass guitars and were looking for a Drummer, Paul Hindle from Saving J played the Drums for them on the Demo and helped them out by giving them some tips.
