Battle Of The Bands Finalists Announced

In case you missed it yesterday or haven’t heard by this stage (thanks in large part to a KKM day off today, Monday), the finalists of the 2007 Battle Of The Bands have been announced and are (in no certain order, except maybe alphabetic)….

• Atrax Mantis
• Decadation
• Desecrate
• Pitch Black

So we’ve two bands from heat 2, one from heat 1 and one from heat 4, Pitch Black, who performed on Sunday.

Congratulations to those going through to the final on September 9th, you’re one step away from €3,500 worth of prizes in the competition. Keep checking back to KilkennyMusic.com and in particular the next podcast or two as we cover the BOTB thus far in full.

If you’re not one of the bands who made it to the final then don’t lose hope. First off there’s always next year, we want to see bands coming back again and upping their game all the time. Secondly, you’re still in with a shot of picking up €500 from Adlib Music in the Bands’ Band competition which sees each of the bands nominate another band from within the competition to receive the prize, the band with the most votes getting the €500 on offer.
