Well, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer band. If you call brutal metal ‘nice’. Kilkenny-bred godfathers of metal Slave Zero have “inked a deal” with Black Sheep Records in Seattle for distribution of The Pain Remits, which should hit US Shores in a few weeks. The deal means that the guys will be getting CD coverage now Stateside with US show dates now very likely.
Via their MySpace…
We are pleased to announce that we have just inked a distribution deal with Seattle based record label Black Sheep Records.
We are very excited by the prospect of getting our latest CD “The Pain Remits” heard, promoted, and distributed stateside and also at the prospect of playing shows in the U.S soon.
Muchos respect to the lads, metal on the outside but a bunch of softies on the inside. Actually, no, you can’t really go saying stuff like that now, “image” and all that. But as bands go, it will be hard to find one in Ireland more hard working than Slave Zero. They’ve been at it a few years now, a few top quality releases under their belts, some massive gigs as well and they’ve carved out a huge following in the under-age and over-age categories of gig goers. Take a look at Black Sheep Records and see for yourself.
It will be a while before you see them back in Kilkenny again but if you’re floating around Wexford on Saturday August 11th head along to the Dun Mhuire theatre where you’ll catch the lads in action.

nice one i’ve never seen that pic before!
