Scuba Dice Voted Off You’re A Star
Its the end of the road for the 2006 Battle Of The Bands winners Scuba Dice in their quest to win RTE’s You’re A Star, the lads having been voted off last night by the public, leaving Maeve O’Donovan, the Wexford guy that did the Abba song and Dublin’s 21 Demands as the final three acts in the competition. No doubt the show has given the lads some great publicity and I hope it will encourage a return to their original material that won them the Battle Of The Bands title last year. Best of luck to Joe, Spud, Scanner and Sean. The lads have also has ‘Holiday’ released as a mobile download. To pick it up just text ‘SCUBA’ to 57707. The lads were told at d wkend that they were better off without dis ting - n they could b ryt….judging the result!
At least they can play wat they want 2 play - their own sings - now!
