
Biography
Formed in late 2005 through an uncanny set of coincidences the band has catapulted onto the Indie scene without hesitation. Saving J have at an early stage captured audiences in their home county and the majority of the larger Dublin venues such as the Sugar Club Best of Garagelands 2006, headline gig at The Voodoo Lounge, Eamon Doran’s, The Hub Temple Bar ands Carlow’s Music Factory to name but a few.
The band rocked onlookers at Teenage Kicks / Spraoi Festival Waterford and have supported the likes of The Aftermath, Stone Ocean, Penfold Dm, Reemo with offers for support slots to play with Charlotte Heatherly (ASH) in Whelans in February and with Jack L later in the year.
Saving J have just recorded their debut single at JAM Studios in Kells Co. Meath with Martin Quinn and will be hitting the airwaves with a bang in March! The band have shot a video over the past weeks to back up the single.
Today, Saving J comprises Sean Redmond (Vocals. rhythm guitar), Paul Hindle (Drums), Liam Redmond (Lead Guitar) and Eamon McEvoy (Bass guitar). The bands songs reflect a catacomb of thoughts, feelings and emotions. With an abundance of original material in the can, Saving J have merged their own unique sound, at one minute beautifully melodic then next hard hitting rock.
