Itchy Trigger Finger exploded onto the Kilkenny music scene in 2003 winning the Battle of the Bands that year. Led by frontman Jimmy Trigger, ITF spent the last few years touring the country and building a steady following of loyal fans.
In early 2006, the band changed to their current lineup with new members Daw and Robbie taking over on drums and guitar respectively. The new additions made way for change in the sound and path ITF were taking.
Itchy Trigger Finger have matured into a band with a sound of their own. Their music encompasses odd time signatures, heavy riffs, and power anthem vocals.
ITF have recently taken time off to record their long awaited E.P ‘The Wrong Side of Misery”, expected to be released late summer 2007. Followed by a National Tour aswell as the launch of a new website.
