Ghost Town are an ambient dub reggae group from Kilkenny. This trio has been together for over nine years (since 1997).
The band, consisting of Tommy Gray on drums, Chris Walshe on guitar and David Ruth on bass has been through a long list of styles over the years. In 2006 Italian singer/songwriter Stefano Banno joined as vocalist. (they are now a foursome).
Their sound comes from years of analysing funk and reggae legends like James Brown, Steel Pulse, Bob Marley, The Police and The Roots. This gave them the know how to create a sound all of their own. They have developed an intuitive approach to song writing, production and arrangement. They operate out of a small home studio in Kilkenny.
