Scuba Dice Break A Leg, Underground Postponed

News this lunchtime that this weekend’s Underground, which was supposed to feature Scuba Dice, Teratoria and Jaded Aces has been cancelled as Scuba Dice’s Joe has broken his leg. I doubt performing on crutches is an option.
Organisers are set to announce the next Underground event shortly and promise to “make it a big one for not having one this week”.
Best of luck to Joe with the recovery, see this forum thread for more.

The tallest man ever to grace the stage of the One Take Sessions, Michael Whelan is set to return, completing the bill for July 31st this year. Completing the lineup for August 21st, which already features Blue Meryl and Jester will be Pacifix, again previous guests of the One Take Sessions when we were back in iD.
What we’re doing at this stage is running a shortlist for acts looking to play up to August 21st. At present there is ZERO AVAILABILITY for the One Take Sessions between now and August 21st, the next available slot (of which there are two) being September 11th.
If you would like to shortlist yourself for any of the ‘Sessions up to that stage, get in touch with your dates in mind and if there’s a cancellation then we’ll be in touch.
More details can be seen at OneTakeSessions.com or on the Kilkenny Music MySpace.

The One Take Sessions sees the return of two previous guests and two new ones between July and August this year.
Three acts have been announced for the July 31st date (leaving just one slot free) as West Of Eden return to Kilkenny following a great performance last Autumn. They will be joined on the night by Walkperson and El Scamperino, both newcomers to the One Take Sessions.
Meanwhile, Jester have announced they will return to the One Take Sessions on Thursday August 21st following their 8-track performance at the March 6th ‘Sessions (last act on the night).
We’re just shy of ten days short of the next date with Cian O’Sullivan, Rob O’Connor, Rich Wyman and Bright Light Fiasco taking to the stage in Cleere’s on Thursday April 17th for the 20th night of the One Take Sessions. It has a special ring to it, so why not come down and enjoy the night!
